How do I access ORCID Registry information? What information is available to the community?

You may access ORCID Registry information through our website, or using our APIs. Registrants control what information is available publicly; anything marked public is available under Creative Commons license CC0.

You can choose to keep data completely private, or to share it selectively with trusted parties (organizations and/or individuals).

You control what information is available publicly, to trusted parties, or not at all, and you can set that visibility for every item in your ORCID record. For more information, see: Announcing your new and improved ORCID record
