Thank you for your suggestion to improve the ORCID registry.

Could you please provide further information about the tagging and filtering proposed? It would be useful if you could provide an example.

    Warm regards,

I think it would be not only useful for funding applications, but also to be able to list the publications in an organized manner. One could have on their web-page "I have worked on two areas during my career: A (see my publications here) and B (see my publications here)"

I don't know exactly what the OP had in mind, but I would like the ability to tag each publication with keywords (we can already set keywords to the user profile itself, so I think it could be fine to only allow these keywords to be tagged to individual publications) and a parameter in the user-profile URL to only show the publications with this profile. For instance http://orcid.org/${ORCID} is my complete profile and http://orcid.org/${ORCID}/chip-seq only shows the publications I've tagged with chip-seq

    Hi

At the Swiss National Science Foundation, we are interested in offering a service to import data from the ORCID profile to our application forms.

Currently, we're thinking about offering a selection process of what and how to import should happen in our native grant administration, while the data is retrieved via API. Like for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_cKSRr7TJ4&feature=youtu.be&t=32s

Instead of "only" a link to created view of the ORCID profile, this make sure, that the applicant can store as well additional funder specific content/remarks, that are not stored in the profile. Like for example what was the specific contribution of the applicant within a grant.

    Best regards,
    Christian
