Allow users to upload pdf file of their publications
Allowing users to upload the pdf file for each featured publication (files not to be made public, however) would help much. Indeed, this would make the ORCID user profile a repository allowing the user to download his/her own publications when he/she is out of his office (and for some reason, he/she needs a copy of his/her publications, e.g., during Conferences or Congresses, scientific meetings, etc.).
Thanks for the suggest, but this outside of the scope of ORCID’s current mission. Right now we’re just focused on ways for researchers to add information and link to complete documents; we don’t have the space or tools to effectively allow for pdf storage.
But you should look into Figshare http://figshare.com, an ORCID member, which provides free storage for research data as well as publications. And you can link your Figshare account to ORCID, just enter your ORCID iD when you sign up.

Thanks for your comment.
The automatic tools to add information to your ORCID record has been built in partnership between ORCID and the provider of the other tool. At this time Zenodo has not worked with ORCID to create a tool like this, though we would be happy to reach out to them to try and work on it. If you know who we can contact there to work on this please let us know.
You can also reach out to them directly to suggest that they get in contact with us -- our experience is that users themselves are the best at encouraging systems to develop connections.

How about allowing users to link (individual) records to Zenodo uploads?
