I suggest that...

Conferences

Like funding, there should be an option to look for conferences (posters/talks/papers) in all the possible databases, at least the big 100 -150 conferences and automatically import into ORCID, instead of manually looking for each and every conference.
OR.
Once we manually enter basic details like author(s), title, conference name, conference location, date etc, ORCID should look for it across databases and find the closest link, even if that is just the program for the conference attended and even if it is from 1990s.

    The automatic tools to add information to your ORCID record has been built in partnership between ORCID and the provider of the other tool. At this time such databases have not worked with ORCID to create a tool like this, though we would be happy to reach out to them to try and work on it.
